Drawn to Midland, Michigan, for its natural brine resources, the young Herbert Henry Dow built his first brine well here, more than 100 years ago. Today, Michigan Operations encompasses 1,900 acres and has 550 buildings and 30 production plants. The site also is home to Dow's main Research & Development campus. Our employees help produce hundreds of specialty chemicals, plastics, agricultural and pharmaceutical raw materials for products essential to life for people everywhere.
